Our client had received this gift from a special friend, which he treasured.  Alas it had come off the wall, fallen and broken.

Before Restoration

Damage Condition

The button had the white section missing.  Top glaze and pattern lost in the fall.  and this was filled in with two part epoxy.

After restoration

The ceramic portion was re-adhered to the base, the missing portion was filled with matched two part epoxy.  The filling was shaved down to match the ceramic finish painted to match the pattern and finished with matching colored glaze.

Our client’s smile on seeing his restored gift was simply precious!
