Before Restoration

The Swarowski pendant (lower piece) 90% of the stones were missing. We decided to clean the original, and create a replica of the same. The first step was to cut a piece of brass, attach a wire shaped to match the base, and smooth and shape the replica to match the original pendant.

Mould was made to get the shape of the adhered mound, with markings to place the glass like stones. The height of the pendant was sloped by soldering a brass heart shaped ring onto the brass cut out heart.

After Restoration

The client wears both the pendants – one a gift from a special friend, and the replica reflecting the skills acquired to work with brass.
